Frequently asked
Questions

What is a digital original?
Fine art digital originals are hand-painted using traditional painting and illustration techniques using the latest digital technology. Instead of painting directly on canvas or paper, I paint on a tablet creating a digital file. Digital files may then be used for fine art prints or digital downloads.

What makes your fine art original?
There is only one original produced. The digital file is output as a high-quality Giclée fine art print. Digital source files are deleted and low-resolution files are retained for archival purposes only. Each original includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

Do you make copies of originals?
No. One (1) original is produced, signed and framed.

What about fine art prints?
Limited Edition fine art prints are much smaller in size than the original and limited to 50 prints only. Each piece is hand-signed and numbered and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Open Edition prints are smaller in size unlimited in print quantity.

How is your fine art printed?
Both original and fine art prints are output in my studio using only the highest archival museum-quality Giclée processes using acid-free, pH neutral, OBA-free (no Optical Brighteners), water-resistant substrates.

What is Giclée?
Giclée (pronounced “gee-clay”) is a term used to describe a fine art digital printing process that combines pigment-based inks with high quality, archival-accredited canvas or paper to achieve prints of superior quality, light fastness and stability.

How long do they last?
In may ways, Giclée originals are more durable and resistant to external environmental factors. Apply the same care as you would with any fine art or photograph—avoid direct sunlight, excessive moisture and heat, and your art will be enjoyed for generations.

Do you offer framing?
Yes. Original pieces are framed. Limited and Open Editions include both framed and unframed options. Framed artwork arrives complete and ready-to-hang. Details are noted in the description of each item.

Can I return a piece if it's not what I expected?
Absolutely. You can buy fine art online with confidence using my No-Risk Online Purchase Protection. Within seven (7) days of delivery, you may return undamaged art for a full refund. Click here for full details.

Do you offer shipping insurance?
Yes. On top of Free Shipping, each fine art original and framed limited-edition print are insured for the purchase value.
